poem about anorexia not sure if I like it but tell me what you thi

She says she is fine That it’s better this time But her face cries abet Furrowed with fret

She is getting more ill And has lost all the will She refuses to understand The bones showing in her hand

She longs to be petite Thus vows she won’t eat Wastes away in her skin Needing to be thin

With a life so distraught Starving, she has been taught From a damaged self form A need to be perfect is born

Due to the Hollywood fad She can see only the bad Hates her reflection For it isn’t perfection

Stop pretending its no big deal For she has stopped eating each meal How long can she last? On such a harsh fast
