How can a person on a diet stop constantly thinking of food?

Answer #1

go to your doctor have him/her help you out

Answer #2

I would say the best way is to do things you enjoy, or take up a new hobby. Try drinking more water. However I must warn that dieting is unhealthy, and will slow your metabolism. If your looking to become healthier you should eat healthy food, and eat about 4-5 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. I suggest consulting a doctor.

Answer #3

consider your urge to eat as a physiological craving, based on your dying habits. Overcome these urges by distracting your mind. Solve a crossword puzzle or something, just distract yourself from the urge somehow.

Answer #4

it will pass in short time

Answer #5

If you’re constantly thinking of food, then you’re starving yourself. Diets don’t work in the long run.

Answer #6

Find something that is filling your stomach and that is is low-calorie. Like boiled rice. Also make sure that you are not suffering any malnutrition. Better to go slow with diets.
