When do girls start seeing an ob-gyn?

what age do girls generally start seeing an ob-gyn? I have never seen one ans I dont plan on it very soon.

Well let me put it this way. This may be be the best advice. When I first became sexually active with a long term partner I went once in the past 3.5 years. Mainly because I hate going to the doctor, cancer does not run in my family, and I have had sex with the same person and only that person for the past 3.5 years and I’m not afraid of catching anything. However if I were a person to have multiple partners, or was afraid that my partner had multiple partners I would be going on a yearly basis. But yes most doctors suggest 18 or when you are sexually active…whichever is first.

My first visit, I think I was around 17 or 18, or like the post above me said, you’re sexually active or for health reasons.
