Need a way to break the curse
I’m 16 and I’m writing a story about a young man that goes to a travelling circus in town and is tempted into returning at night for the main attraction: their female panther turns into a teenage girl at night when under the two moons. The problem I have is that part of the story is that the man helps the girl to escape and break her curse and I don’t know how that’s going to happen yet. I don’t want anything too cheesy like ‘true love’s first kiss’ or something boring like that though I plan for the two characters to end up together. Can anyone give me any ideas or inspiration from other things about fictional curses? I’d appreciate the help :)

Hmm. First of, this sounds like an interesting story :) How about the only way the girl can break the curse, is if the man died. I mean like it was destiny for them to meet, and they went on an epic journey trying to free the girl from the curse. And in the end, they figure out the guy has to die to fulfill to prophecy or something. Then he risks his life to break the curse for her…and…I don’t know. That’s all I’ve got. Haha.
