Would I be able to move out when I am 16?

depending on where you live its 17 or 18

ohh right thats what i thought but some people said it was legal at 16 but i am not sure. I do have a really good job which has good pay and so does my friend we both have similar jobs :) x

its not far where we want to go. its only like 6ish miles from where i am now.

You can get emancipated, but only if there is a good reason or the court can deny your request. It would be best to stay with your parents until you’re an adult because times are hard for everyone, especially young people who don’t have everything figured out exactly how its supposed to be. Plus, unless there’s something between you and your parents, they would want you to stay. I mean, if I had a 15 year old I wouldn’t want them to move out so soon.

yeah everyone says differently so not sure. my family life aint that great and i know my mum dont want me to go far so me and a friedns choose a place not far from my house now. so if my mum wants me she knows. it might be better once i know how to drive so i cant get to places quicker but i dont know.

Emancipation is becoming illegal in many places. Make sure you know your laws before you try anything so you don’t look dumb. :P

It’s a tough world out there, so unless there is a really bad problem between you and your parents that cannot be resolved I would stay at home for a few more years.

i would just stay at home.its going to cost a lot of money.
