How many minutes or hours does someone have to exercise if they have a 2000 calorie intake?

Answer #1

None? Thats a normal intake to keep the body functioning normally… Are you trying to lose weight?

Answer #2

yes i am

Answer #3

Well then any exercise should help. It all depends on how tall you are and how much you weigh.

Answer #4

The daily caloric intake for young & active females is actually 2400. Honestly, if you’re only taking in the sedentary amount along with regular exercise, you should already be slowly losing some weight.

Answer #5

i know, thats why im starting to exercise more but i just want to know how long i should have to do it for and im about 5 feet tall and i dont weigh all that much.

Answer #6

i looked it up and it only said 2000? and im doing a moderate amount of exercising, im not really loosing weight thats why i was wondering.

Answer #7

Honestly, I’ve heard many different numbers, I just go with what I hear most often :) The thing is, though, that losing weight isn’t simple. Are you exercising enough? I would recommend 4-5 cardio workouts a week. Are you eating breakfast? Studies suggest that getting protein in the morning can speed the metabolism. Are your calories coming form complex or simple carbs? It’s better to eat complex carbs (fibers, starches) than to use sugars for your energy, because it takes longer to break them down and you get more longterm energy. Maybe doing some research will give you insight as to why you’re not losing weight. Hope that helps :)
