Claritin can lead to other health problems.. Be careful with it.

Answer #12

Those are painkillers. While short term they can relieve symptoms of allergies, they can also cause damage to your liver and kidneys. By the way, Ibuprofen and Advil are the same thing.

Answer #16

Corticosteroids helps for allergies

Answer #17

Singulair works best for me. Claritin and Zertec never seemed to help; I couldn’t tell any difference whether I took them or I didn’t.

Answer #18

It’s kind of like a netti pot, you basically have warm water with a solution in it run through your sinuses and drag the allergens stuck in there out. It gives some relief and actually removes traces of whats making you sniffly.

Answer #19

Zyrtec is a lot cheaper if you buy generic brand, just so you know (: Ha with 7 brothers and 3 sisters in the house, all of us with allergies, we had to find ways to make it cheaper X)

Answer #20

The last one I tried was Claritin, which made me depressed and suicidal. It has the same effect on my son and we are both people with no history of mental illnesses, depression or anxiety, etc. So I don’t bother any more - I just suffer!

Answer #21

Try Zyrtec, or alternative/organic meds?

Answer #22

wow cool

Answer #23

Answer #24

Answer #25

I use Alegra. My insurance does’nt cover it for some strange reason, so I talked with a pharmacist and she turned me on to an over the counter one that is just the same and much less expensive. I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s that time of year again so I will go in and see her. You know, Pharmacists are very knowledgeable and always helpful, I have alot of respect for them. If you go talk with one, I’m sure they can help you.
