Losing Personal Space...Need a Solution

I’m just feeling fed up lately and I’m losing personal space because my brother whos at uni was staying there last year but is now at home. It doesnt sound like he plans to move out for even 2 years+, and by the time he does ill probably be at uni myself (all being well) so I wont even appreciate it. I dont intend to hack it for the next 2 years because I have to share a room with him and it disturbs my sleep. I’m also an extrememly private person in some respects and need my personal space desperately. I just have no idea what to do. HELP!

Theres not a whole lot you can do about it. Your brother has just as much right to live there as you do. I’m guessing your living arrangements must have changed from before your brother went to uni[versity?]. Talk to your parents about the living arrangements. Tell them that you could not live this way, long-term. Ask for some sort of alternative. Maybe sleeping on the couch is a viable option. Tell your brother how you feel, and more importantly, tell him not to bother your stuff. You’ll maybe find living totally alone isn’t as glamarous as you think. Best of luck to you.
