Answer #1

yeah, true true. if it runs in your family.. then why would they think you’re “crazy”… they’d understand… its nothing to be ashamed of

Answer #2

Again, the only thing you can do is talk to a professional. There is no shame in being depressed, and it doesnt mean you’re “crazy”…

Answer #3

it gets worst at night it stops me from sleeping I think if not depression than anxiety

Answer #4

Do an online depression test, but make sure its a nationinal company (pro website). The if it says yes, look at ways to help and see if things get better. If not you will need to tell someone. I would say a friend or a brother or sister, and gently drop hints that they need to tell your parents.

Answer #5

Manic Depression is an old term. Today it is called Bipolar Disorder. It requires professional intervention, and possible medication. Fortunately, there is VERY effective treatment for Bipolar Disorder, PROVIDED YOU TAKE YOUR MEDICATION AS PRESCRIBED! Look in your Yellow Pages for your nearest mental health clinic and ask for an appointment with a good clinical psychologist. They can help you overcome your condition. Don’t blow this off, though, because untreated Bipolar Disorder can be dangerous to yourself or others, and can wreck interpersonal relationships with family or friends.
