Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

  Welcome, again, to Fun Advice!

You’ve taken the most important step by admitting to yourself that you ARE anorexic.

Like Ty said, you aren’t at fault. You should allow your PARENTS, not your brothers, to become aware of your problem and be allowed to give you their support and get you help.

Your body, right now, is in a very unhealthy state. What you do now is going to determine how well your body functions and serves you for the rest of your life.

Have confidence in yourself and in your parents. Their love and trust in you requires that you come to them when you are confronted by problems that are bigger than you can handle. AND anorexia cannot be handled alone!

Answer #2

It depends how old you are. You can call the boys and girls town hotline and talk to them and see they will get you information and a place near you that you can go to for help 1-800-448-3000, is a 24-hour crisis, resource and referral line for teens and parents struggling with anything and everything!

Answer #3

just explain to your parents that you do not believe that your body is at its healthiest right now and you would like to speak to a doctor about how you can get healthier. when you go to the doctor tell your parents that you would like to speak with the doctor privately and then tell him/her about your concerns. if this is not an option you may be able to get your brother to take you as long as you can get your insurance card to take to the doctor’s office and can pay for the visit. good luck!

Unfortunately no, if you are underage a therapist is mandated to tell your parents. But look this isnt your fault. An eating disorder is a mental disorder, no one chooses to get it (dont let the people who “want” the disorder make you think otherwise). No one truly ever wants to become anorexic, because then it’s controlling you, you’re no longer in control… I’m sure your parents will understand it. It isnt a matter of trust… You didnt betray their trust by becoming sick… They will be looking out for you, but that’s only because they care… It will be ok. But you need to get help before things get bad…
