What do you do when you find out your best friend has an eating disorder?

The best thing u can do is b thr for her and not judgemental. When she needs someone to talk to b thr for her. I know that’s wat helped me when I was in the situation of havein an eating disorder, which I still struggle with sometimes. Been dealin 20 yrs now. If u wanna talk fm me I’m here

Be a good friend and support her and try to help her? You honestly can’t figure that out yourself? Not being rude but seriously?

If i found out that my friend had an eating disorder and i was not suppose to know about it. I would tell him or her that you should not continue because it could lead to many other disorders such as, dysmorphia.

I do agree with Jeoni. It is for their benefit. talk to their family if you have to.

well thats never happened to me but tell their parents or your parents and try to help them with the problem

i’ll talk him about it and compromise as well

you have two options.

1. tell your friend to seek medical help. so that she/he doesnt harm his/her body any further
2. tell the parent/s or gurdian/s and or someone who is close to the person with the eating disorder

I would read up on it and find out all that you can about it so you understand her situation ….. as UP2 posted then you can talk to her in a knowledgable way but not judgementally. Support is always good

tell her i had once and i almost died because of dehydration.. and she better realize it now.. but it takes a lot to stop it..its really hard
