Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who are committed to spreading awareness about the risks of skin cancer and promoting prevention education programs.

Amy Mason - Events Manager

Amy Mason, our Events Manager, plays a crucial role in planning and managing all fundraising events for IMPACT Melanoma. With over two decades of experience in event planning and community engagement, Amy ensures that our events are successful in raising funds for patient support initiatives and prevention education programs. Her dedication to our mission is evident in her work with Team IMPACT, world-renowned marathons, annual golf outings, and the Shades of Hope Gala.

Laurie Seavey - Director of Sales and Operations

Laurie Seavey, our Director of Sales and Operations, is passionate about building and maintaining Partners in Prevention. She works closely with corporations and communities to educate them on the importance of sunscreen and sustainable prevention programs. Laurie’s expertise in creating customized programs like Practice Safe Skin has been instrumental in spreading awareness about skin cancer risks across the country.

Deb Girard - Executive Director

Deb Girard, our Executive Director, has been with IMPACT Melanoma since its inception in 2002. Under her leadership, the organization has grown into a nationally recognized non-profit dedicated to increasing awareness of the sun’s harmful UV rays. Deb’s vision for the future includes expanding our Partners in Prevention program and launching initiatives like IMPACT Shade to provide portable shade in communities.
