How do I make my legs not hurt for longer at work?

I do roughly 8 hours or so at work and I’m on my feet the whole time apart from break. After I come back from break I’m okay for an hour but then about 2 hours before I finish my legs really hurt from standing for hours. I work a couple of days after eachother and im working thurs, fri, sat and sun this week and I dont want my legs to hurt, I’ve taken paracetamol but what else can I do? I’ve tried soaking them in the bath but it doesn’t work well. Are there any stretches I can do to help?

You also need a really good pair of shoes. Don’t go for fasion when picking them out, go for comfort and support. A little extra cusion in the heel is an excellent thing. I get mine from shoesforcrews.com.

I hear ya, I work 12 + hours a day, rarely take a break and some days my legs and feet are just KILLING me.

I found what helps is foot and heal balm by BareFoot in peppermint and plum. I previously used it on my feet and it almost acts like bengay but with out the old man smell. So I started putting in on my lower legs too. It actually soothes them and makes it feel a lot better.

You can find the stuff at WalMart near the foot care section by the Pharmacy. They also have a lemon & sage scented one that I occasionally switch it up with.
