How to lose weight before going back to school?

Hello , so im 16 years old & 164 pounds. & im also 5’7 . what are some ways I could lose weight all summer before going back to school . if I worked my butt off, how much do you think I would be able to lose? AND I know fat turns to muscle. I don’t want all muscle, I was thinner legs, not muscular is that possible. and if yes.. how? I mean I don’t want to starve myself , I want it to go the healthy way. people say I dont need to lose weight, but I feel I do because I want to be able to not be so self concious & I want to be able to feel good with myself & my body.

Go for a jog in the mornings or evenings. Weight lift…see if your school has summer weight lifting. Maybe cut back on the fatty snacks and high fructose corn syrup soft drinks and red meats. Try eating more fruits and veggies…milk ect… but DONT take it too far.

get yourself an all-over body exercise dvd or video if your strapped to cash check out the video sections of seconhand stores/op-shops! start out with say a 10 minute one, and work with it every day make a pln to eat healthier, diets dont work just eat healthier, and lessen your intake of fatty foods, salt, sugare, ect the best time to work out is in the moring before breakfast, you loose more when you do it then it might take some weeks to see results but stick with it!
