How 2 brush teeth wit stitches!?

I got surgery 2day in my mouth and I have a tun of stitches Now I just thought … How am I suppose 2 brush me teeth?! It hurts a lot and I cant even open my mouth a lot and I am not suppose 2 touch the stitches What do I do?!?

I had an operation inside my mouth when I was a teenager. They told me to rinse my mouth with salt water until I was able to brush my teeth comfortably. They also told me to be careful of the stitches when I was brushing. It only took a few days before my mouth was feeling better and I could brush again.

If they gave you gauze use it to clean your teeth it is softer then the tooth brush and won’t irratate it as much. Just becareful not to get caught in your stitches but they should be trimed and not long so you can control the gauze as you clean your teeth.

You’re teeth won’t rot out if you just don’t brush them for a week or so.
