Helpful scriptures for my boyfriend in jail?

My boyfriends in jail and I can’t ever think of anything helpful or inspiring to tell him. Does anyone know any good advice or scriptures I could tell him to keep his spirits up? He goes to court in a weak and he will find out then if he has a 6 month sentence, if he does he will miss our childs birth. I’m so nervous I don’t think I’ve been very helpful.

Many people actually find God, while incarcerated. It is a great time to study, the bible, and see what it has to say, it can be life changing. If he is serious about studying the bible, I would suggest that he start in the book of John, in the New Test. If you have any questions, please feel free to funmail me.

And if you/he is desiring Gods help in his situation, God does hear our hearts cry, when it is pure, sincere, and mixed with faith. To build your faith, you have to read or study the word, when you believe the word, and pray accordingly, God will move.

Unless he’s deeply religious, it’s doubtful your boyfriend is going to get much comfort from Bible verses.

…assuming he is though, you might talk to him about Paul’s imprisonment.
