Copying everything I do

Ok so me and my best friends have been friends for years but something thats really been annoying me the last while is that she wont stop copying everything I do, its like she hasnt got a mind of her own. She trys to act like me and say things she thinks I would say and I know I should take this as a compliment but I cant because I love to be original but she is really annoying me by behaving like this. is there anything I can do? thank you

Then you have to decide what’s more important to you:

-Your originality and and standing out on your own.

-Or your friendship with her.

Honestly, they say copying you is the best form of flattery. She is copying you because she looks up to you and obviously like your style and the way you are. You should be flattered. If you want to continue a friendship with her you can either talk to her about it (but realize that she may take it the wrong way and get upset) or just move and don’t worry about it. What’s more important to you?
