Answer #1

I dropped out of school and its hard to get a job. also that im goth punk doesnt help. Stay in school and just get a part time job after school or on weekends..

Answer #2

I already have a part time job , I’m saying to start working full time at my job

Answer #3

it also depends what grade your in. If your close to graduating you may as well stay. I dropped out of school so i could get a job and find a better life and start a band. But when your differant to others its hard. Just choose carefully

Answer #4

Hold out just a while longer and stay in school. It could pay off in the long run. Your gradnpa would probably want you to as well. You can still help him with part time job

Answer #5

Just consider all options and use your best judgement….only 18 so plenty of time to return to school later if circumstances require…invaluable is the time helping, learning from, making memories, etc from your grandma…while you can…I wish you the very Best !!

Answer #6

Dont drop out just yet.. see how things play out and what happens. School is important though.

I dropped out of school with a 2.2 gpa(never did homework). Then I went and got my GED and scored high enough on the tests to earn a 3.9. After taking my SAT’s a year of community college, I found I could get into just about any university I wanted. Now most of my grades are based solely on test scores.

The lesson here is that if you’re good with tests, Dropping out of high school can work well to your advantage. If you’re not you should stay in school.

I took a year and a half off before starting college after I dropped out. In that time I worked 3 jobs I hated for hardly enough money to get by. It sucked.

If you’re seriously planning to do this stop and think about it for a moment. How much will you make from the job you’ll be working? How much can you contribute to helping your grandma out of debt? Include her income. How long will it take at this rate to pay off the debts? After this long, will it be difficult to pursue higher education? If the answer is no, it may not be a bad idea afterall. But let’s face it, in this economy, a career at entry level pay just doesn’t cut it anymore.
