Did she overreact?
Update (this happened this morning 9:00am ): The telephone rang. stacy answered: Mom: “will you bring me a cup of coffee on my lunch” Stacy: “sure, mom I turned the collar around and wearing the buttons in the front and it is looks great. it is a beautiful shell” Mom: “it is - all I said was that the collar did not look right and it did not look right with the jacket.
This morning at 8:00am: stacy and her mom: stacy has an interview in the afternoon; every morning when stacy wakes up , she gets dressed immediately and then has breakfast. stacy was driving her mom to work this morning. stacy was wearing the following outfit for the interview: a pair of grey pants, a printed shell and a black blazer.
Mom: “you know that collar on the shell does not make it” Stacy: “i have to fix it” Stacy fixed the collar in a hurry because she had to drive her mom to work. however, when stacy put her purse strap over her shoulder the collar moved. Mom: “the collar is still not lined properly, you have so many beautiful tops” Stacy: “i just have to fix it” but stacy was so mad that she yelled at her mom and they had some fight.
When stacy came back from driving her mother stacy took the blazer off and the shell. first stacy was going to sew the buttons to make the shell tighter. however, she decided to wear the buttons in the front and now the shell lays right.
My question: did stacy overreact to her mothers comments? and how would you have handled the situation.
Dear voterperson, IF your mother is in her 80s and still working perhaps she can get you a job where she works. I’m sure at her age she would like to be able to retire and stop supporting a 54 year old child. Better yet why don’t the two of you go into the clothing business…you bought a million shirts and stuff for 99 cents. You could sell each one for $2.00 making a huge profit. This way your mother may be able to live a peaceful life without having to worry about her last living days discussing irrelevant things and actually enjoy her last days here on earth. Sue…good luck
why do you talk in the third person? I really am curious?
Why don’t you just go around naked? That way you guys can’t argue about your clothing anymore! :)
NO I am not going to sell my clothes. I love them
