Denominators

Er mi sis wants ta know how do you add two fractions if the denominator is different

Answer #1

You have to find a common denominator

Example: 1/3 + 1/4 Change the denominator to 12 and reflect that in the numerator: 4/12 + 3/12 = 7/12 reduce to the lowest denominator, if possible (which, in this example it is already as low as it can go)
