How can I get a comfortable bra when my mom won't let me?

Okay, from my experience, it’s best to just be totally up front with your mom. If you have legitimate reasons for WHY you should be able to get padded bra’s (which you do.. “gives you support, looks nice, doesn’t dig, etc), she’ll probably let you. Or if you don’t want to talk to her face, leave her a well thought out note or something. Or bring it up in a joking way.. Like “GOSH! My boobs need freaking support! I need a padded bra! Hint Hint!”. Yeah, it sounds dumb, but then its not like your getting mad or sneaking around getting it yourself… and she might realize how important this is to you!

i think you should tell your mom exactly how you, why should you be uncomfortable? Sports bras unless wearing them to exercise i find to be more confiding. and i don’t think that a bra you wear has anything to do with your morals. also i am the same size as you and i wear pushup and padded bra’s and they still look small. i would suggest offering to try on a padded or push up bra at the store and put your shirt on over it and show her that there is not a huge difference.

Could you try and meet her half way? For example, you could try to find a bra that isn’t a sports bra, unpadded, and still comfortable. Also, a lot of bras come with inserts you can take out, or put in. Also, you should probably get measured professionally if your bras are that uncomfortable.
