Can I cook a smoked pork shoulder in the crock pot?

I usually cook my smoked picnic with beans, but would like to cook it in a crock pot. Is there a good recipe for doing this or is it not recommended since it has already been smoked?

Yea its amazing in the crock pot, even roasts and ribs.. mostly you use a sauce in the crock pot so it does take away some of the smokey flavor but brings it together really nice with the beans. I don’t have a recipe handy but just look one up online, there are sites dedicated to cooking with a slow cooker or crock pot.

Yes, you can - essentially, all you are doing is reheating it.
