Yellow leaves on Confederate Roses

I have a confederate rose whose leaves are turning yellow. What are the possible causes of this. We live in TX and the temp has been around 100 degrees for quite sometime so I suspect its the heat causing this. I water it twice a week. What are the other possibilities?

Answer #1

it will be because of the heat-lack of water. in summer months plants and flowers need watering every day if there has been no rain. Preferably water them at the coolest times- early morning or as its getting dark. pull off any leaves that have gone completely yellow
