Worried about my one year old chihuahua

I have a year old chihuahua that I was not going to breed but my room mate had a friend come over with two male chihuahuas when I was not home one day and they all left and the male was locked into her when I came home. I am not sure if it took it have been just about 4 weeks and her nipples feel like they have lil round balls forming. And she keeps vomiting I called my vet and she said its normal if she is. Should I take her to a different vet because I dont feel like it is normal!

I AGREE ITS NORMAL FOR HER TO GET SICK/VOMIT. JUST MAKE SURE SHE HAS HER CHECKUP’S AND LIKE CHIHUAHAUADDICT SUGGESTED GET HER SPAYED. ITS HARD ON CHIHUAHUA’S TO HAVE PUPS SO PLEASE GET HER SPAYED.

Your vet is right! It is normal for pregnant females, to throw up on occasion. Just make sure you have a vet supervising her during her pregnancy and whelping. If you have never delivered puppies before, and you run into a complication, you need to know when it’s time to take mom to the vet for assistance. The reason I say that, is because Chihuahuas are known to require C-Sections, because sometimes the puppies are too large for them to deliver. Chihuahuas can also die during whelping, if you don’t have experience, and you don’t know how to spot a complication and how to assist the mom and her puppies. When she does have these puppies, please get her Spayed! Good Luck!

I don’t know if vomiting is “normal’ for a PG dog, like it is for people…but I agree, if you’re THAT worried, even tho you’ve talked to one vet, DO go get a second opinion…to ease your mind.

If you’re worried about your dog take her to the vet. They can’t exactly tell you whether to come or not, you’re the one paying.
