Will bleaching my hair damage it worse?

My hair isn’t really that soft, or silky. But it’s not really dry or anything. I don’t know why it’s damaged… because I haven’t straightened it or blowdryed it at all this summer… but it’s currently like strawberry blonde-ish/light brown. and I’m thinking about dying it dark beach blonde. will it just get damaged more? I’m going to a salon to get it done professionally, is there anyways I wouldn’t have to bleach it?

well dyeing or bleaching your hair won’t do it any GOOD. so the obvious is answer is yes, it’ll damage it more. I won’t be to the point where you hair will be like fried bananas or anything but technically you’ll be damaging it.

You could make your hair light yourself in a natural nondamaging way. This may not make it bleach blonde but will lighten the color, you can repeat it till you get your color. But what you do it you take lemon juice and just soak you hair with it and mesage it in you hair, then you lay out side in the sun and the sun dries it and it kinda natrually bleaches it without all those chemicals! You can also do this with highlights and just take strands of your hair. If you try this hope it turns out the way you like!
