Why will no one in my school miss me when I leave?
In july I’m moving to vancouver and no one in my school will miss me. Why? I’m not popular but I’m not a dork either. Does no one even care?
I’m sure you will be missed. if some people say otherwise they must be joking. it shouldn’t matter if you’re popular or not. you will definately be missed. I guess it’s just that some people will find it hard to admit. it’s not like they can stop you from moving. but best of luck when you do.
maybe they didnt like you that much? you never know. depends on how big of an impact you had while you were in 8th grade. if you go into highschool after you move it wont be that bad.
When one person moves away, from a workplace or a school, or a family, I think they miss the others more than the others miss them, because you’re the one who is suddenly isolated from everything that was comfortable.
Do your very best to keep in touch regularly with your favourite people… and of course you’ll make new friends - don’t worry…
Of course people will care when you move away, they’ll think about how things used to be with you there, and how they miss having you around.But it’s nothing to cry over (for most people). It’s not like you’re going to die, you’re just going to a different school. Your friends and you can still chat through e-mail/phone/whatever. You know?
They will miss you when you are gone.
