Why use a toner on your face what does it do?
After you wash your face and put on a toner/astringent, what does it do to your face?? How does it help it??
As you know, toning is the second step in the basic skincare routine: Cleanse, tone, moisturize.
It removes any cleanser that remains (make sure you rinse cleanser thoroughly, though), makes pores smaller, and evens out your skin tone.
Toners add oil where needed & remove it where needed. It balances your natural skin oil. When you have a balance, it reduces chances of getting blemishes or uneven skin tones.
toners generally strip the natural oils from your face so there better for people with oily skin
some toners are to take care of the pigmentation of the face so that you dont have white spots/sun spots.
