Why Is My Sisters Boyfriend Acting Like This?

I Love My Sisters Boyfriend..He’s Like A Brother I Never Had..Any Way His Parents Are Not Together.And When He’s At His Dad He Seems To Have A Bug Up His butt. But It Seems that He’s Only Like that When Im There…And He’s Extremely Over Protective Of Her…She’s Friends With a lot Of guys and she’s known them for a long time and he has a problem with her talking to them let alone hugging them bye..and hes the same way with his friends…she cant talk to them without him yelling about it… I think it is because he’s afraid he’s going to lose her..but thats not going to happen…but yet he doesnt understand that..he’s kinda pushing her away from him… I dont want that for either of them because then they will both be miserable. helpplease

Dear five_minutes_to_midnite, When a person you are dating tells you, you cannot do something (anything) this is a red flag. They should be talking about how this behaviour may upset him and how she respects what he wants and compromise. But if they are fighting about it then it tells us they do not agree and have not come to a compromise. This is the bases for any relationship; communication and compromise. If this little event cause so much arguing and stress the relationship probably should not continue. You are right they will be miserable with each other so perhaps they should consider moving on.
