Why do my eyes lighten in color when I hold my girlfriend?

Girlfriend said that my eyes seemed to lighen in color from their normal dark brown, to a lighter brown. Is that possable? And if it is why dose it happen?

My eyes are bright blue in the morning and green at night. Its quite amazing.

the things you look at (like bright things/dark things and different coloured things) can make our eye colour brighter or duller temorarily untill you stop looking at it so its probably her eyes/hair/clothing/the lighting ect that changes your eye colour

YEAH. It happens. My eyes are brighter the more awake I am. My friend and green eyes and I kid you not, they turn ice blue everytime she has to go to the bathroom. My sister’s also change depending on what she wears.
