Twins with weird eye colors

My twin and eye have unusual color in it, it looks like we scrambled our eye colors together. I know how it is caused..This “piebalding” of the eye is most often caused by a somatic mutation–one that occurs while one (or sometimes more) of the cells in the the tissues that will become the eye undergo a non-lethal mutation in the gene that controls the color of the iris. Usually a mutation inactivates a gene, so this is most commonly expressed as a blue patch in a brown iris. But it can happen either way. I just don’t know what it is called. Anyone know?

Answer #1

Yes it is but there is a term for that mutation. I just don’t remrmber it

Answer #2

I don’t think it is. I think my eyes are really cool and your eyes sound pretty cool too. A lot of people always give me compliments on my eyes so I like them :)

Answer #3

That’s strange and cool. I have one full green eye and a half blue half green eye, but I don’t have a twin. Is that weird?

Answer #4

I think this might be it “Wardenburg Syndrome”

Answer #5

heterochromia iridium

Answer #6

I have 2 year old twins, one is a girl and one a boy, my little girl has blue eyes and my son has one brown eye and the other is half brown and half blue and he’s been that way since he was born, I heard eye things like this are more common in twins.
