Why do deep thinkers act like...(read below)?

why do deep thinkers act weird when they aren’t thinking deep? I have found myself to act silly, goofy, random strange and I feel it helps me relax and not be too serious when I am around people I trust, but when I’m not around people I trust I am silent, more introverted reserved and I think more deeply…why do I do this? is it some sort of balance thing?

Balancing thing is exactly what came to mind. Or it can be done out of habit.

As for the balancing, its like balancing out the level of emotions you have. Being goofy ands to the humorous and care free feeling while thinking deeply adds to a serious and analytical emotion. I’m not sure how true this is but its sounds like a possibility. Its not a bad thing I can say that much its like a double personality. The two personalities you have balance each other out. I’m not sure how true this either but take it as a theory.

Hope this helps.

Answer #2

I am exactly the same as you! When I’m with people I trust and feel more comfortable with I act random, strange, funny and silly. Then when I’m with other people I come across serious, quiet and not much fun. I guess it’s just to do with vibes you get from the person you’re with, you might feel you have to act in a certain with certain people? Because perhaps you’re not as comfortable with them? I know some people see me as loud and happy and others as very quiet and intelligent, but that’s just a certain side I show when around that person.

Answer #3

I think most reserved people tend to feel free to just be themselves and act goofy when they’re around people they trust. Maybe that’s more your personality than you think it is, and the real you is only free to come out when you’re relaxed… Everyone has a non serious side to them. It tends to come out when they dont have to worry about what other people are thinking. Everyone needs to relax and take a break once in a while
