Why bruising, and redness of lip piercing?

I am worried I want a answer. Please let me know when and f this redness will go down.

If you’ve recently got this piercing then the discoloration and any swelling are normal. But if this piercing is more than a week old and you’re still suffering from any one of those things then you should consider doing one of the following, take it out and hope that it heals on its own, if you want to keep the piercing call your doctor and him check it out. ~~Good Luck~~
