The Christian God is not the original God. See the question…it is 1700 years old (documented)…older of course in the Old Testament. You didn’t answer the question at all.

No moral values??? So I take it genocides, war, prejudice, cannibalism, & a strive to wipe out all individuality is of morals? Not to mention when Christianity & Jews practices human sacrifice of women & children(even infants) is also of moral along with the night the streets ran red with sheep blood? Christianity has the darkest & most violent history than any other religion, an abysmal of macabre’s & horrors, even worst than voodoo(don’t mistake that with Satanism, that was of Christian creation. Satanism has not a thing to do with the occult, it is nothing more than the other part of Christianity) or any “primitive” religions, & I do include Mayan & Aztec. Don’t criticize on a subject you know nothing about, you will loose.

Compare all the world’s different sacred writings and look at how these writing define the origins of man/fall of man/sin/redemption/morality/love/hate/etc and you will see that most countries, with the exception to Islamic nations, pattern their laws after the Bible.

The Bible’s truths about our fallen nature & demons and their influence on mankind is overwhelmingly evident when you turn on the TV/Internet/Billboards/books/media in general. You can clearly see the anti-God attitudes/mocking/hate/deceptions/promotion of immorality/pro-gay/pro abortion/anti-Bible agenda all around you.

Now compare the nature of God/prophets/archeological evidences/fulfilled prophecies/historical evidences/changed lives/etc and you will see that Christianity & the Bible stand alone.

All other beliefs are man’s futile attempt to be acceptable to their deity. While Christianity is God coming down to mankind (knowing we were incapable to be good enough for God’s perfect standard). Christ lived the perfect/sinless life that we could never live and He died a horrible death yet rose again from the dead thereby proving Himself to be not just a man but God & man.

The problem is that many are either blinded to the truth by the demonic realm OR they don’t want to change their sinful lifestyle OR they will not examine the vast claims and evidences of the Bible’s validity OR they out of fear or comfort (and often due to their upbringing) reject the Bible wholesale without checking it out in an unbiased manner OR reject it for fear of being excommunicated from their religion/family/friends/life.

Your lack of belief in God doesn’t somehow make God disappear. He is God alone and He loves you. But He’s the perfect Father & He’s the perfect judge. You choose which one He will be to you! Either God is who He said He was or He is a liar. This is the eternal question and those that say He’s false better make absolutely/positively sure they have checked all the evidences they can!

Simple: it boils down to whether one believes the Bible is the inspired, infallable, word of God or not - I certainly know who and in whom I believe - see John 3 : 16 - everyones choice to accept or reject, no riding the fence.

Only the new testament is 2000 years old. The old testament is around 6000 thousand years old. Around 6000 years and Christians still believe in their God because they know it is real.

Well the question is wrong. The new testament is around 2000 years old. Proper documentary evidences are available to prove the New Testament period is from 4 BC to around 70 AD

The ORGINAL “GOD” came from Paleolithic ages. It’s believes to be from the sun or when men dressed in animal hides & hunted(thus animal parts).

As for which one is REAL, it all depends on what you believe in.

It boils down to salesmanship. These later religions have done, and are doing, a much better job of “selling” their God than are the older religions. Besides, it is more “in” to believe in a “modern God” than an ancient one.

Pleeease, christian and islamic god are the lamest and most uncreative ones. Greek and Egyptian gods are way more creative and original. I say, greek gods are real. You have to be unbelievably delusional to believe in some kinda christian angry guy god, seriously. Go Zeus!

Religion is a self perpetuating belief system. Those beliefs are accepted on faith and never tested. As a result, there can be (and are) thousands of religions with diametrically opposed beliefs, and the believers of each religion think they have the inside scoop and everyone else is wrong.

Thinking clearly, you would know that humans only found out they wont plunge off the face of earth if they keep on riding by horse or sail by ship! Infact they feared that untill only 300 years ago! Also a Fact that didnt even understand the smallest thing like: Thunder, hail storms etc untill recent, the only thought that came up was, god is trying to punish us or sumone else :-o So what I’m getting to is: how da hell did Adam and Eve even know there was people staying 500miles from them, any ways where did all their kids come from if there was only 1 Mommy!
Most important, the people who wrote all the books of the Bible, is the same people who thought rain, thunder etc was a supernatural sign from their god and so did the budhist, no difference! Point is most people believe all these, cause they are to scared to THINK and stand the chance going to HELL Wake up people there is no such thing, Believe in your own strengths and I promise you, you would be amazed by what you are capable off! 4000 years of Old Testament history, in addition to the 2000 years of New. either way there are document MUCH older than that talking about other types of Gods, such as the Romans, Greeks, Norse Gods, Native American, tribal people, primative man even so whether we forget to mention that part or not, it doesn’t really matter if we mention Gods from Paleolithic periods.
