What's a better pet - a snake or a hedgehog?

Okay you lot! so i went to see pets again for my birthday today (it isnt today) and iv decided im either getting a snake or a hedgy :D which one would you go for, and btw hedgehogs are ADORABLE they cost £125 and there homes cost £50 an they are small and cute and you can play with them and they are rare however the snakes are gorgeous small and really fun and active they are really funny when you play with them, they cost £70 and there homes cost £17 so they are cheaper but not as rare as the hedghogs. Which would u choose?

i’d go with a snake, i have hedgehog[s] and i love them and alll, but there loud as heeelllll when your trying to sleep. >.<
