hedgehog as a pet

hi my birthday is soon and I really wanted a hedgehog my brother told me he would buy me one for me but I would have to convince my mom to let me how do I convince her? she mainly wont let me because im going to brasil and I have no one to take care of it bt I think I can get some one to how do I convince her? ohh and I already have a pet dog

I don’t think it would be fair on the hedgehog to go to brazil, leaving it without care, and for it to be tormented by a dog its whole life, your mum obviously has her reasons, and you need to respect that.

But maybe I am wrong, maybe to persuade your mum, you could do a little bit of research on how to look after hedgehogs, and tell her about the good things about them.
