Getting the proper education you need for a better future. You always learn new things. Sometimes it’s not even course related. xD

Other than learning, I think you grow as a person and make some great new connections with people. I had some of the best times with a friend I had met in college. We helped each other a lot. I didn’t party much, mind you. My experience was more learning than anything.

as said already, it’s the life changing effect that you learn (if you live on res) through lectures, new friends as well as profesors. it’s the imapct of you starting a life on your own that will prepare you for the real world. i’ve only gone through first year uni, but i can tell you that… sure the dorm partys and late friday shots are fun (once i turned legal)… BUT it’s the new ppl you meet that make it worthwhile, it’s the new ppl who make you think that “wow” unlike highschool ppl these ppl are REAL - NO DRAMA, pure maturity :)
