What is the best approach to holding hands?

I know this is a dumb question. But I wanted to start holdin my boyfriend’s hand. But he’s really shy, so I know he isn’t going to make the first move. So, of course, I have to. I was going to, but it didn’t feel like the right time, even though I had the perfect opportunity.

I know this sounds stupid but high fives give him a high five but leave your hand against his and gradually interlock your fingers (works with low fives as well)

First , Just play with his hand and than clap it lOl . It might sound dumb but , it worked for me . Than just hold it lOl . While you guys are walking or something .

sounds like what happened in my case I was extremely shy around my girlfriend at the beginning

first few times she would just grab my hand and I would like it eventually I started making the first moves and now its really funny to think I was shy around her haha
