Webcam on slow computer?

I got a computer in my room a little less than a year ago and it’s realllyyy slow. I know it’s not the type of interent I have because I have road runner and my sister’s computer is really fast. Is there anything I can do to make it faster?

Also, if I install my webcam, will it go slower?

ok if the computer is slow it might be because: 1.to many applications are open 2.you might have adware, a virus or trogen 3.not enougth ram

close some applications

adding more ram will always benefit you giving your computer more brain power

if its the internet: -make sure your internet cable isn’t damaged -make sure your sister isn’t doing anything bandwith intensive live bittorent downloading

and if you plug in a web cam it will slow down youre computer but only when you open the program that uses the camera and its activited
