Waht you don't or do like about obama?

I like him because:

-He turned down Bush’s anti-family planning bill and is going to support family planning and every choice that woman has and not just one. -He wants to bring our troups home. -He closed the Guatanamo Bay Corecction Center! -He wants to end the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy in the Army. -He wants to expand eligibility for State Children’s Health Insurance Fund (SCHIP)

I like him because he has pledged a serious commitment into developing renewable energy tech. Most presidents say that, of course, but for once, I actually believe it.

I like that he inspires people. Im not American but this is one of the few times I really feel like being American.

There are some errors he made that make me uncomfortable though. Like the Reverend Wright issue (he was in the church for 20 years then suddenly left it after his pastor said some controversial stuff)

Oh and he wants to end the stupid Iraq War. And despite being Christian, he respects all religions, sexual orientations, and races, as long as they dont involve murder or doing crime. Sometimes I see part of myself in him

I like the fact that he is intelligent, articulate, and competent. We haven’t had a president like that for 8 years. The image of a cowboy president is not a good one to the world even if it does appeal to a certain demographic of Americans. Bush’s simple cowboy shtick was getting old.

What I dislike about him is that his efforts to reach consensus and take the middle path may keep him from making the radical changes this country needs to get back on its feet.

Like him as a person, don’t like many of his previously stated position on policies - I just hope his ‘Change’ is positive for America - don’t understand a cheater on taxes being nominated and confirmed to the position to enforce you pay yours - it was previously stated that this will be the most ‘transparent and Ethical’ administration ever - don’t understand how that’s Ethical - certainly it’s possible to find a nominee who paid their taxes.
