vitamin supplements

ok I dont know if this is true but someone told me that multivitamin tablets and fish oil tablets contain fat and calories :? is this true?

Answer #1

‘Calories’ are in everything (except clean air and water), so it’s hardly surprising that yes, vitamin tablet and fish oil supplements do have some calories.

But as mysterywolf points out: fish oil is good for you, with its Omega 3 fatty acids especially good for the heart, as well as your joints.

If you’re worried about calories, focus on not eating greasy or fatty foods otherwise, and try using skimmed dairy products - and lots of fruit of vegetables.

Answer #2

There are ‘good fats’ and ‘bad fats’. Good fats are the ones you can get out of Fish Oil (which are Omega 3 fatty acids), and bad fats (which you should avoid) are like trans-fatty acids that you can get from Burger King burgers.

So you’re definitely doing your body good by taking these supplements. Fish Oil is good for your joints and stuff.
