transplaning bell peppers

recently purchased a bell pepper plant, on closer look I noticed their are two plants in the container. How can I seperate and transplant them without damaging the roots

You can just leave them together and let both plants grow in the same hole. You would probably have to stake them though, because of the added weight. If you do decide to seperate them, just be gentle and try to keep as many of the roots in tact as you can. As long as you don’t destroy too many of the roots, they should grow back and shouldn’t hurt anything. Nature is pretty tough!
