How many times do you have to have tonsillitis before the doctor takes them out?

my sister used to get strep and tonsillitis like 6 times a year for 3 years, and they still wouldn’t take them out. Now she has tonsil stones (little stones that are attached to your tonsils that you can actually pick off, but they come back) and they are finally considering it. I think it has to do now with how much school you miss because of it. I’m not exactly sure though. Very few Dr.’s are willing to do it any more, i’m not sure why though. But yahh.

A LOT OF TIMES ,N IF THEY R 2 BIG THEY WILL TAKE THEM OUT SOONER, I GOT MINES REMOVED ,I WOULD MISS A LOT OF SCHOOL CUZ OF THAT ,I WUZ ALWAYS SICK OF TONSILLITIS THAT Y THE DOC REMOVED

Although many people have had them removed as a child, I did not and when I became an adult, I always had the same trouble that you’re having. Well, I let it go too long and ended up with chronic tonsilitis when I was your age of 27. They had to be removed then and it just about killed me, Really tough to go through. I suggest you try and see a good doctor and get this taken care of or get some kind of treatment before it gets worse.

Mines were removed when i wuz 12 yrs old.The older u get the more pain u gonna go thru n run thru complications ,kind of dangerous, i heard about it n also read about it. good luck
