What are your thoughts on churches banning interracial couples?

I agree with Ericson. Just now in scotland they are voting on whether or not to allow same sex couple to marry in churches. My feeling on it are fairly strong (check out my post from a couple of months back). The way i see it love comes in many shapes and packages no-one, repeat No-One should be allowed to stop it or harm it in way at all. Ever.

I’d ask them what century they stopped thinking. 19th or 18th?

I can’t wrap my mind around why that should be banned, why that is wrong HOW that is wrong in any way. Christianity is about love, unconditional love, not this.

Some people think they are Gods people but they dont follow him. One thing he wants is to love thy neighbor and to not judge. These kind of churches are an abomination. Jesus loves all people of all races. we are all made the same. we all bleed the same. only difference is the skin color. which make this world more interesting. People have lost sight of whats truely important. And thats to love everyone. No matter if they are gay, balck, white, non-believer, hateful, homeless EVERYONE. It is not our place to judge and thats exactly what these churches are doing. Its not right

People Should be able to love who they want. No one should be banned because the one they love is a different race its like being raciest but putting GOD in it. God accepts everyone, were human we all have our flaws but its a shame that people/churches are doing this Though not all are doing this i haven’t heard of any where i live but I’m sure if they did someone would be sued for discrimination

That is pathetic. I am not 100% white and my boyfriend isn’t 100% native. Looks like when we have kids they’ll be 100% mixed. Why don’t they just ban my whole family?

At least my church isn’t. But still, it should be a crime for them to do such a thing. God doesn’t discriminate and neither does love.

Anyone can start a church…the question is how many are followers that believe? Personally, wouldn’t be my kind of church.

They’re not authentic. Love is colorblind. It has no boundaries and holds no grudges. If u look in the bible, moses was hebrew, while he married an ethiopian woman. So for the church of all places to discriminate against interracial couples is unjust and immoral to God.
