Can I get on the Pill while underage in Canada?
Hi. Im 14 years old. turning 15 in October. My boyfriends sixteen. We live in Edmonton Alberta Canada. And we have been dating for a long time now. Were very much inlove. Were both very smart & responsible & we dont do stupid things like some teenagers we know. Lol well were not stupid when it comes to sex If we start to have sex hes going to use a condom & im going to be on the pill. We wont have sex without both. Can i get the pill by going to a doctor by myself? I really cant tell my parents about it. Will i be able to get it prescribed to me? & will the doctor contact my parents? & what are the chances of pregnancy if we use both & use the condom properly & me being continuse on the pill for over 7 days.
yes you can go to a doctor just have ur parents take u for a check up and have then wait in the waiting room an ask the doctor if he can put you on the pill. then all u have to do is get ur refills every month. but you still have to worry bout getting pregnant because you can still get pregnant being on the pill and wearing a condom so good luck and be careful! love ashlee
