Answer #1

U need to c a doc

Answer #2

Only a doctor can tell you what you may have.

Answer #3

The symptoms you listed sound like you may have anxiety and depression. However, dry skin and pale skin doesn’t sound like it has anything to do with it.

I suggest going to a counselor, or psychiatrist and talk with them about this. They may be able to give you advice on how to control it, or they may prescribe you medication for anxiety and depression.

Answer #4

You could well have anxiety and depression, but also be underweight (moodiness, bad skin, poor energy and coldness could all indicate this). Either you are underweight or not eating right and helping your body to function normally. You need to see a doctor to try and get a diagnosis. Don’t feel sared about it- you can find out what it wrong and go back to feeling like you again :) everyone needs help sometimes so be brave and seek some out and I am sure you can start to feel better again.

Thanks for answering; please stick with me for some more questions :) Do you think you eat a healthy diet? Do you eat much fruit and vegetables? Whole (unrefined) grains? Do you take fiber or any other supplements? What fluids do you mostly drink, and how many glasses in an average day? How much physical activity do you do? How much sleep do you get in an average night? Is your insomnia the kind where you have trouble falling asleep, or you wake up to easily/early, or you just don’t go to bed? By “mood swings,” do you mean the depression and anxiety you mentioned, or something additional?

Answer #10

I eat pretty decent. I try to eat atleast 2 fruits a day and vegtables i usually eat about 2 or 3 servings. Meat i eat about 1 to 2 servings. I eat alot of grains like 3 to 4 sevings, ans i sometims hav fiber1 bars or all bran bars like everyother day. i dont hav a work out plan or anythn because i walk up and down three flights of stairs an average of 4 times or day or more, and i walk half a block to get home. By mood swings, i meant like seperatly from depression and anxiety. i would be really upset about somthing 1 momment, thn would be really hyper the next, then really gloomy, but moslty gloomy. I try to hav 4 glasses of water a day. i dont drink much juice anymore.

Answer #11

Ok, thanks. Given how much of your diet is grains, it’s especially important (it would be, anyway) that you stick to unrefined whole grains as much as possible. Depending on the size of your “servings,” you may also need to increase the amount of vegetables you eat. Rule of thumb: In each meal, vegetables should take up about half the food-space on your plate. They make good snacks, too.

It’s very good that you’re trying to get additional fiber, but bars are not the best source. If you don’t like Metamucil type fiber supplements (I know I don’t), try the more powdery kind that doesn’t thicken when you dissolve it in water. You can also sprinkle it on solid foods, and it’s quite tasteless; you’ll barely know it’s there. (I use a brand called Benefiber.)

And try to drink at least a couple more glasses of water per day, or other unsweetened beverage, like herbal teas and seltzer.

You may not need a “work-out” plan, but it sounds like you do need more physical activity - at least 20 or 30 minutes of heart-pumping exercise, like brisk walking, at least 4 days a week. If you do all three of those things - fluids, fiber, and exercise - for a couple months, there’s an excellent chance that you’ll see an improvement in your energy level and digestion, and likely in your level or frequency of depression and your sense of coldness, too. You might also sleep better, though that depends on what’s causing your insomnia.

But it won’t end your anxiety, depression, and mood swings. For those, the support of a good therapist can be very helpful, and medication is an option.
