Why are you not supposed to take Allegra with orange juice?

Answer #1

The acid content in the citrus juices, especially grapefruit juice, can potentiate the effects of Allegra, meaning it affects the way your body metabolizes the drug and can lead to toxic effects to your body, including your liver (since that is where most chemicals are metabloized). - Katie :D
