What is our state in Heaven?

Do we see our bodies as ourselves on Earth or do we only see spirits? My mom thinks we will all get a new body. Is that true?

Answer #1

Thats an interesting question. I’ve really never thought about. I think misty bodies.

Answer #2

Somewhere in the Bible, it talks about Heaven, and it does say that we’ll have a new body. Im not entirely sure of where it is, definitely check out Revelation. This is a really good question, and thank you for asking… I think that we, as children from Earth, will see bodies. Im not sure really what it’ll be like but Im kinda leaning towards what your mom is saying.

Answer #3

I can do some research and let you know more about it if you would like me to :)

Answer #4

Thank you. That would be helpful. :)

Answer #5

I’ll do it. Give me a while, and I’ll get back to you :) Would you like a funmail or something?

Answer #6

The Christian belief of heaven is that everyone goes up with the best and healthiest version of themselves.

Answer #7

That is impossible to answer. How could anyone possibly know that? I suppose you’re just gonna have to wait and find out!

Answer #8

Nothing, because heaven is not real. Grow up ffs

Answer #9

If you don’t agree with a question or statement, don’t comment on it. It’s that simple.

Answer #10

It’s pretty easy to live your life not believing in anything. Hope that works out for ya in the end.

Answer #11

Although I don’t believe in Heaven either…I don’t think it’s right to go around telling people that it is not real. Respect other people’s religions, because everyone doesn’t believe in the same things.

Answer #12

Our bodies will be real and they will become perfect..1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We will live in houses..John 14:2 (Jesus peaks of heaven) In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

We will work and eat.. Isiah speaks of heaven Isaiah 65:21,25 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. Even the animals will change 25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Answer #21

‘the Bible does speak about people going to heaven, doesn’t it?’ Yes. After Adam sinned, Jehovah purposed to set up a heavenly Kingdom in which some of Adam’s descendants would “rule as kings over the earth” alongside Jesus Christ. (Revelation 5:10; Romans 8:17) They were to be resurrected to immortal life in heaven. Their final number is 144,000, and the first ones among them were Jesus’ faithful first-century disciples.—Luke 12:32; 1 Corinthians 15:42-44; Revelation 14:1-5.

However, it was not God’s original purpose for upright humans to leave the earth and go to heaven. In fact, when Jesus was on earth, he stated: “No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.” (John 3:13) Through “the Son of man,” Jesus Christ, God provided a ransom that makes everlasting life possible for those exercising faith in Jesus’ sacrifice. (Romans 5:8) But where will millions of such humans live eternally?

Though God purposed to take some from the human family to serve as corulers with Jesus Christ in the heavenly Kingdom, that does not mean that all good people go to heaven. Jehovah created the earth to be the Paradise home of the human family. Very soon now, God will have that original purpose fulfilled.—Matthew 6:9, 10.

Under the rule of Jesus Christ and his heavenly corulers, peace and happiness will prevail in all the earth. (Psalm 37:9-11) Those in God’s memory will be resurrected and will enjoy perfect health. (Acts 24:15) By their faithfulness to God, obedient mankind will be granted what our original parents lost—everlasting life in human perfection on a paradise earth.—Revelation 21:3, 4.

In the Bible book of Isaiah, we get a preview of what life will be like in the Paradise earth. No inhabitant of Paradise will say, “I am sick.” (Isaiah 33:24) Animals will pose no danger to man. (Isaiah 11:6-9) People will build beautiful homes and inhabit them and will plant crops and eat to satisfaction. (Isaiah 65:21-25) Moreover, God “will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.”—Isaiah 25:8.

Answer #22

If people will go to heaven then they dont need houses and they dont need to eat and have animals. Everyone who is in heaven are spirits they don’t need that.

Answer #23

The Bible says that Jesus left to go prepare a place for us in Heaven, where there are many rooms, mansions, houses etc. Just like bornagain said up there, look it up in John :)

Answer #24

AFTER Jesus’ final meal with his apostles on the evening before his execution, Jesus promised to reward them with a place in heaven. He said: “In the house of my Father there are many abodes. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going my way to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:2)

To those who will rule with him, Jesus said: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32) That “little flock” will finally number 144,000. (Revelation 14:1) That number is small in comparison with the millions who will enjoy endless life on earth as loyal subjects of the Kingdom.—Revelation 21:4.

Answer #25

Your state in Heaven is what ever you want. You determine that state for yourself.

An interesting word, “Heaven”. Heaven refers to that which is above earth. A State, or Place, there is no such thing. As Jesus said Heaven is within one. “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you.” If Heaven is within each of us that would also mean Hell is within us too. Wouldn’t that be logical? As the universal law states, “what ever you think you attract.” Think good things, good will be attracted to you. Heaven is good. Think bad thoughts, badness will be attracted to you. Heaven is Hell.

So one creates their own Heaven or Hell, that is the state one will be in. “State” is a condition of Being, what one is at that moment. One is happy or sad. Active or still. Those are states.

Answer #26

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 Describes what will happen at Christ’s coming. The dead will rise first (they are not apart of the 144 k ppl), then those who are alive will be caught up together with them in teh air. to be WITH the Lord…

D u remember when Christ was risen? In Luke 24:37-40. He ate and they were able to touch him, therefor his body was real. our bodies will be real as well. Salvation is meant to restore us to the state Adam was in B4 he sinned. He ate.

Also the Bible speaks about what will happen to the lost at His return.Revelation 6:14-16. They will run to teh hills and hide (but that wont save them)and teh Lord shall consume them with his brightness 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:8. Rev

Then after 1000 years. the new jerusalem will come down to the earth renewed(Rev 21:2)

then Satan shall be loosed to deceive the nations(the lost) which Christ will resurrect once once more. REV 20:5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended..then this is where they are all destroyed by fire verse 9-10.

Answer #27

Not surprisingly, then, God said nothing to Adam about going to heaven. So the earth was not to be a proving ground where people would be tested to see if they were fit for heaven. Man was created to live forever on earth, and that purpose of God will yet be fulfilled. The Bible promises that “the righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Psalm 37:29) Clearly, humans were not originally meant to go to heaven

Answer #28
