Softball tips

Okay so I play softball but havent play in like 2 years I need to know how to convince my coach to put me on 1st base or any where in the in field I hate the out field its so lonely out there

I played softball and, I was in the left field so I know it can be lonely but I loved playing the position.But if you really want to play 1st base I think you need to show your coach that you really want it,work your butt off out there.Another thing talk to him ask him if you could practice being in 1st base. Practice I play Varsity Baseball for my high school and I play first base because im a lefty but I would practice scooping the ball and not let any thing get past you ask your coach in practice one day if you can try first base and see how he likes you, you never know you could steal the first base spot if you good enough

PRACTICE YOUR THROW DOWN>.. MAKE SURE YOU CAN THROW FROM 1ST TO 3RD. THATS A LONG STRETCH. PROVE THAT YOU CAN MOVE QUICK. THAT WHERE THE BALL IS THROWN 1 OUTTA 3 PLAYS. YOU GOTTA PROVE THAT YOU CAN CATCH WELL TOO! JUST PROVE THAT YOU CAN DO AND ASK FOR THE POSITION! DOES YOUR TEAM ALREADY HAVE A 1ST BASE ?

I play softball and im first base and I think all you need is 2 b able 2 catch and b able 2 throw the ball from 1st 2 2nd, 1st 2 3rd and 1st 2 home and remember the thriple threat or the triple play I usually foget what is called. hope this was helpful!!!
