I cant go to sleep

I cant go to sleep!

it takes me mad long to fall asleep and then im tired in the mroning

why ? how can I get my self to sleep faster /??

I have the exact same problem, here’s what my doctor told me;

  • Hot drinks in the evening- with out caffeine though (so not coffee) -Hot relaxing baths -Gentle music while lying in bed -Read a good book in bed -Don’t watch television in bed -Give yourself a routine, eat at the same time, bath at same time, bed same time ect. -Breathe slowly controlling the timing -Sake all the muscles in your body working from tip to toe, this relaxes you -Try to stay clear of alcohol and too much caffeine -Do not eat past 9 at night -Make sure your room is the right temperature, not too warm nor too cold -Turn your mattress over every 3 months -Drop lavender on to your pillow
