Henrik Ibsen Eugene Ionesco Tony Kushner David Mamet Christopher Marlowe Jane Martin Arthur Miller –These are some authors she wants us to search and she doesnt want us to use Shakespeares unless we are experienced which i am not.

Marlowe is pretty similar to Shakespeare, so maybe avoid him if you have never read Shakespeare (they were around at the same time). A good site to go on for him is called online-literature . com, as it has all of his plays on there to read. Ibsen is also on there.

Just google ‘read Ibsen online’, or whoever you want to look for, and you should be able to fine links for most of them. Try your local library to get copies of their plays though if you can’t get them online as they should have some by the more popular playwrights on that list, if not all of them.

I am particularly pleased to see your reference to local libraries. If people insist on using on-line sources, rather than using public libraries, the latter will cease to be funded, and will go out of existence. Books that are still within copyright will then only be legally available by purchasing - either hard copy or to legally download as an ePub or similar eBook format.
